A powerful right hander that can produce some deep tube rides over a reef and rock bottom. Like any good wave anywhere in the world. This place can be surfed from waist high right through to triple over head. Early mornings are best at Keramas and it can also be surfed through the dry season if conditions are right. Best size is in the head to double head high class. There is also a range of other breaks within walking distance like KFC’s and Cucukan breaks.

A great A-Frame wave with the right barreling then some nice sections to hit. The left is also very fun and breaks into a deep channel. The wave is best and the most fun to surf from waist high to overhead.

Cucukan is a very fun right hand wave that barrels across black lava rock. This wave can be surfed from waist high to double overhead. The wave is located on the eastern side of Bali,  just a stones throw north of Keramas. The wave is not very crowded if you get on it early and can be a great option when Keramas is crowded.

Night Surfing

Komune Bali also has a permanent night surfing set-up right in front of the resort, which is the first in the world. Guests can relax and enjoy the amazing views of surfers tearing up the waves at night, or they can also book a night surf session. However, only 6 surfers in the water are allowed per session. Many of the nights, the resort features surfers from Bali Boardriders club who have some of the best surfers in the world.

We came here on a family surf holiday and this was an amazing choice. The surf, the food, the location, the vibe, the pool, the staff are all world class. The kids were fully entertained whilst the surf was right outside the front of the resort. I now know why this place is so popular - I am giving this a 10 out of 10!
